Great Myths of the West

The so-called “Epic of the West” in the brief history of the United States gave rise to certain characters known by their violent exploits, typical of their time and environment. Popular literature and primarily cinema and later comics glorified their actions, portraying them as mythical heroes, when in most cases, they were simply killers and survivors driven by circumstances. This series tells the stories of these legends such as Jesse James, Buffallo Bill or Butch Cassidy & Sundance Kid, and highlights Ortiz's deep affection for the western genre.

In English it was published under the name of Great Myths of the West and Great Wild West Myths in the 80s. In Spain it was compiled in two volumes with the title Grandes Mitos del Oeste.
