Goya. Saturnalia

During the saturnales, slaves were freed from their obligations.

At the age of seventy-three, Francisco de Goya moved to the Quinta del Sordo, an estate on the outskirts of Madrid, where he produced the most personal and enigmatic works of his life, the so-called Black Paintings. Within these walls, Goya would change his vision of painting and plant the seed that would shape the future of art.

    Press reviews:

"The authors have achieved something unique. One of those works that only come out from time to time and that set milestones". El Torres.

"Goya. Saturnalia moves in those spaces of hybridisation that the 9th art is so fond of and that makes it difficult to apply any label except one: the one that tells us when we're in front of a great comic". Álvaro Pons.
