Núria Aparicio, author of the children's comic Nuc i la capsa màgica (catalan edition of Nuc and the magic box), has been selected for the Comic Category at the Junceda Awards to promote and reward illustrators, organized by APIC, the Professional Association of Catalan Illustrators, founded in 1981 by a group of illustrators keen to defend their professional interests collectively.

This title is the first of The Adventure's of Nuc, a series of comics full of magic, tenderness and humour starring a mischievous witch's apprentice. The comics without text include pictures in speech bubbles representing dialogue to stimulate children's imagination, teach vocabulary and strengthen their oral skills.
